There are many gentler ways to discover Provence Sud Sainte Baume. Cycling is one of the most popular. It's worth noting that the trails in our Var region, a mix of vineyard paths and coastal roads, are ideal for those who like to take their time pedaling in the fresh air. To help you plan your itinerary, here's a list of the routes you can take by bike.
Cycle tours in Provence Sud Sainte Baume
Between the towns of Saint-Cyr-sur-mer, La Cadière d'Azur and Le Castellet, three cycling itineraries have been designed to take you from one village to the next. Along the way, you'll come across some of our region's most emblematic landmarks and admire some exceptional views. It's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the picturesque atmosphere and unspoilt authenticity of our villages, to recharge your batteries and fill up on energy and scents!
These routes have been designed with three different levels of difficulty. So whether you're a professional sportsman or a cycling enthusiast, there's bound to be at least one that's just right for you. You can choose between :
- Circuit 1 (easy): located in La Cadière d'Azur, this is a 10 km itinerary lasting around 1 hour.
- Circuit 2 (difficult): a 16 km loop between La Cadière d'Azur and Saint-Cyr-sur-mer for a 1 hr 30 min walk.
- Circuit 3 (very difficult): the longest, linking Saint-Cyr-sur-mer, Le Castellet and La Cadière d'Azur, covering 34 km and taking around 3 hours to complete.
