Fête de la Saint-Jean

 The Fête de la Saint-Jean, celebrated on June 24, is a major event in La Cadière d'Azur, marking the start of summer. It culminates in a grand bonfire, an emblematic ritual that brings residents and visitors together around a vast brazier.

 

Fête des Vendanges

Every year, the town organizes the Fête des Vendanges with great enthusiasm and a convivial atmosphere. The event celebrates La Cadière d'Azur's winegrowing tradition, and takes place at the end of August, when the grape harvest is in full swing.

 

Cultural events

 Throughout the year, La Cadière d'Azur celebrates a number of cultural events that enrich its local heritage. In July, the Salon du Livre (Book Fair) attracts literature lovers with meetings with authors and literary events. In September,the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) are an opportunity to discover and promote the village's historic monuments through guided tours and special events. The Santon Parade

 This traditional event highlights Provencal culture. The Escolo de La Cadière folk group parades in costume with santons representing typical Christmas crib figures. A living nativity scene is also recreated. This festivity transforms the village into a magical place, where visitors can appreciate the authenticity of local traditions and immerse themselves in the spirit of Christmas
