What is Vignobles & Découvertes?

The Vignobles & Découvertes label was created in 2009 by Atout France, our national tourism initiative promoter. Its goal is to promote French destinations that are committed to promoting their wine tourism through a wide variety of activities (restaurants, leisure activities, exhibitions, etc.).

As you can see, it's not just about promoting the wines of a region, but rather allthe synergy that visitors can find there between an estate offering educational tastings, a restaurant promoting a local appellation, or even a cruise operator that has forged partnerships with nearby vineyards.

The ultimate goal is to highlight this French expertise and make it accessible to everyone. How? By making it easier for visitors to organize their stay, directing them to high-quality, verified, and approved services.

✅ Good to know: the Vignobles & Découvertes label is awarded to a destination for a period of three years. After this period, an audit is carried out to determine whether or not to extend the label. This guarantees you, dear vacationers, regular quality control of the activities on offer.
