The Géométries du paysage exhibition offers a reading of Cubism through the Provencal landscape. Focusing on André Lhote and Provençal cubist painters, it shows how the southern region became a space for formal experimentation. The artists developed an approach based on the construction and geometrization of reality. Lhote was a key figure in this process, serving as a conduit and teacher of Cubism. The exhibition highlights a history of Cubism rooted in the South, between modernity and tradition.
