As you'll have gathered from browsing the pages of this site, our destination lies between Provence and the Mediterranean, between the lush green massifs of the Var and the blue horizon. That's all well and good, but there's a good chance your GPS won't find your rental address! So to help you locate our region on a map, here's everything you need to know.
how to get to provence

A piece of the Var

To go into more detail, our agglomeration community is made up of the following towns and villages: Saint-Cyr-sur-mer, Bandol and Sanary-sur-mer on the coast; Évenos, Le Beausset, Le Castellet, La Cadière d'Azur, Signes and Riboux in the Provencal hinterland.

Itineraries

By train

Only the seaside towns and the village of La Cadière d'Azur have SNCF train stations. That said, they can be a great starting point for your vacation with us.

The nearest TGV stations are

  • Toulon (about 15 minutes from Sanary-sur-mer) ;
  • Marseille-Saint-Charles (about 1 hour from Saint-Cyr-sur-mer).

From either station, you can take the local TER line, Marseille - Toulon - Hyères. This serves Saint-Cyr-les-Lecques / La Cadière d'Azur, Bandol and Sanary-sur-mer / Ollioules. For more information and timetables.

By bus

In addition to the inter-communal shuttles you can discover in the " Getting around" section, the destination is served by three regional bus lines. Here are the details of the ZOU! network:

  • From La Ciotat: line 880 (passes through Saint-Cyr-sur-mer, La Cadière d'Azur, Le Castellet and Le Beausset).
  • From Toulon: line 885 (passing through Sanary-sur-mer and Bandol) or line 888 (passing through Évenos, Le Beausset, Le Castellet, La Cadière d'Azur and Signes).

By car

The A50 freeway passes very close to several of the destination's communes. The main ones are Sanary-sur-mer, Bandol, Saint-Cyr-sur-mer, La Cadière d'Azur, Le Castellet and Le Beausset.

To reach Évenos, Signes and Riboux, you'll have to take the small Provencal roads, which still have a certain charm. Some pass through fields of vines, while others follow the winding foot of local gorges. A road trip you'll enjoy just as much as the finish!
