La navette maritime de l’île des Embiez
Focus on the island of Les Embiez
With a small holiday village at its entrance, the rest of the island is wild, home to 90% of Mediterranean plant species. Les Embiez and the lagoon that separates it from the Gaou peninsula are classified as a Natura 2000 area.

The ferry from Sanary-sur-Mer to Les Embiez
To tell you the truth, the island of Les Embiez is not actually part of our Sud Sainte Baume region. This beautiful little island is located in the municipality of Six-Fours-les-Plages, next to our beloved village of Sanary-sur-Mer.
And it is precisely from here, from the town of Sanary in the Var region, from its port, that the Îles Paul Ricard company offers all curious minds and adventurers the chance to visit the Embiez archipelago. From June to September, the connections allow everyone to easily reach this paradise lost in the middle of the sea throughout the day.
✅ Good to know: the rest of the year, departing from Bandol or Sanary-sur-Mer, the other option is to take bus 885 to the "Plage de Bonnegrâce" stop in Six-Fours-les-Plages and then line 72 to "Cros," where you can finally board the island's official ferry. Needless to say, in summer, this shuttle service from downtown Sanary-sur-Mer is a convenient and quick way to explore the trails of Les Embiez!
