Nèbre, also known as "Old Évenos": this ancient city is astonishing. Built 362 meters above sea level on an ancient eagle's nest of basalt rock, its ruins seem to have emerged from a mirage. The bonus: superb panoramic views of the surrounding towns.

The chapel was built in the roman-ogival provençal style in the XIIth century by the bishops of Marseilles. It functioned as the local parish church until 1506, the year in which the villagers abandoned the hill.
