Description

Created at the end of the 1950s by a couple of young horticulturists from Marseille specializing in cacti, the exotic garden of Sanary-sur-Mer has gradually welcomed animal species from different continents.

With an area of 2 hectares, the Sanary-sur-Mer animal and exotic park now allows you to discover many exotic animals and plants: 29 species of mammals (serval, armadillo, meerkat, otter, lemur...), 28 species of birds (ara, cockatoos, red flamingo, cassowary...) and 7 species of reptiles (cayman with glasses, iguana, turtle, monitor...) await you, for the greatest delight of young and old!

The park has recently been expanded with the creation of a new enclosure for European fallow deer.

On the botanical side, Zoa Parc presents a vast collection of tropical plants (including the famous carnivorous plants) and cacti.

The park also offers free parking, picnic areas, playground, snack bar, souvenir shop.

  The park closes even later on Wednesday evenings, at 9:30 pm! For the occasion, musical evenings are offered to you (check out the schedule on our previous post) and the park's dining options remain open! Perfect for a family dinner, with music and surrounded by animals! Ticket sales close at 8:00 pm.
